Kastamonu Trip 

Year: 2022 Location: Samsun, Kastamonu

A technical trip was organized to Kastamonu attended by Samsun University Department of Architecture students. As part of this trip, a visit was made to Kastamonu City Museum. During the tour within the historical city, various building groups were examined.

Sinop Trip 

Year: 2022 Location: Samsun, Sinop, Gerze, Boyabat

With the organization of Samsun Surveying and Monuments Directorate under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a technical trip was organized from Samsun to Sinop, with the participation of students from Samsun University Department of Architecture, Kavak Vocational School Architectural Restoration Department andOndokuz Mayıs University Civil Engineering Department. The trip consisting the examination of  structures/building groups whose construction and restoration are ongoing, was led by the guidance of the Directorate of Surveying and Monuments Dr. Ali Sarıalioğlu and the directorate’s technical staff.

Ladik Ambarköy Open Air Museum Trip

Year: 2022 Location: Samsun, Ladik

Ladik Ambarköy Open Air Museum in Samsun’s Ladik district was visited by students of Samsun University Department of Architecture. Ambarköy, which houses 22 wooden warehouses received from the villagers through grants, also includes 4 wooden houses, 2 greenhouses and 4 water wells. The museum located in the area and where old hand tools are exhibited was also inspected by the students.
